Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

WORKSHOP SPEAKERS

LEE BRUBACHER

Are you considering a call to vocational ministry, or are you seeking to develop and train young people for leadership in worship ministry? In this session, we will discuss how to discern a call to ministry, how to develop a leadership pipeline, and how to call the next generation to serve God with their gifts.

Do you ever wonder if God wants more from corporate worship than simply a recital of popular worship songs? Come to this session for an overview of the Scriptures as we develop a fuller theology of worship.

WORKSHOP 2: Pursuing A Call To Vocational Ministry

WORKSHOP 1: Theology of Worship

ROB BROCKMAN

WORKSHOP: Leading In-Between the Songs

As a worship leader, we tend to focus so much on picking songs, working on arrangements, and even ironing out musical transitions, but we don’t tend to put as much work into what is said in-between songs. How do I lead the congregation in worship in-between the songs? How can I ensure that I’m not a distraction but an encouragement?

TYLER KNEGT

WORKSHOP: Discipling Your Team

Discipleship within the worship team is a vital area where we can all continue to grow. Not sure how to begin with different team members? Intentional and effective discipleship can make a lasting, visible impact on your worship ministry. In this session, we’ll explore practical starting points and highlight why investing in your team spiritually is so important.

MATT KERR

WORKSHOP: 10 Tips for Great Rehearsals: Building stronger worship teams through effective rehearsals

In this breakout, we'll walk through some helpful and practical steps to transform your rehearsals from simply "running through the music" into opportunities to foster a healthy worship team culture, increase your team's readiness for Sunday, and elevate your church's worship experiences.

JOSH DOCKSTEADER

WORKSHOP: Suffering and the Call to Lead Worship

How on earth can I lead people in worshipping God when I/they are so broken? Come and hear Josh teach from his experience as both a long-time worship leader and church planter.

MEAGHAN ING

WORKSHOP: Make A Joyful Noise!

Meaghan has been leading worship for over 15 years at a variety of churches and women’s events in and around Barrie, with a heart for making a joyful noise to the Lord and a passion for helping others grow in their gifts. At Behold Him 2024, Meaghan had a blast directing the choir for Paul Baloche. She holds a diploma in Music Theatre Performance and has formal training in both piano and voice. In addition to serving in worship ministry, she teaches voice and piano lessons, helping students grow in skill, confidence and musicality. Married to her high school sweetheart, she is also a proud mom of three. In her vocal workshop at this year’s conference, she’ll offer practical tools for vocal technique, tips for blending with others, and tools for effective harmonizing - equipping singers to lead with excellence and unity.

PATRICK ANDERSON

WORKSHOP 1: Creative Tools for Serving with Acoustic

WORKSHOP 2: Serving Effectively with Electric Guitar

The acoustic guitar is a great instrument for leading congregational worship. Sometimes though, we can feel kind of stuck, or in a rut with our playing. With tools based around what you use every time you pick up the guitar, come learn how to become more creative in serving the song and context within your gatherings. Lots of practical tips and ideas you can build on for the future. Patrick has recorded with Sovereign Grace Ministries and served in a variety of church ministry contexts throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Whether you already play or are interested in electric guitar for worship, you are welcome. We talk about gear (of course), tools for playing higher up on the neck, creating parts that suit the song, and more. There will be lots to take away and work on for the future! Patrick has recorded with Sovereign Grace Ministries and served in a variety of church ministry contexts throughout the U.S. and Canada.

WORKSHOP : Called to Worship: Discovering Christian Calling Through a Life of Worship

What does it mean to be called by God, and how is that calling shaped by worship? In this seminar, we’ll explore the deep connection between Christian calling and the life of worship—how every believer is invited not only to do something for God but to be someone before God. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by practical theology, this session will unpack how worship is more than just music or Sunday gatherings—it’s a way of life that reorients our identity, purpose, and direction. Whether you’re discerning a personal calling, leading others, or seeking to better understand how faith and vocation intersect, this session will provide clarity and encouragement. Come and discover how a heart set on worship becomes a life set on mission.
